Autumnal, the first of Packwood’s four part seasonal epic, Vertumnus, contemplates the concept of changeability, and what it means to fall. Elements of folk and chamber music – both instrumental and vocal - intertwine to create a rich, immersive reflection of Autumn. Moving between bright anticipation and shaded resolve, this first release of Vertumnus is an ode to Packwood’s previous work, and the beginning of a much grander story.
